Bargain hunters can get a jump start on Black Friday shopping this weekend.
The Fairfield Library's Big Autumn Book Sale is underway.
Books are $2 for hard covers, and $1 for paperbacks.
All funds go to support programming and other events at the library that aren't covered by the regular town budget.
Organizers say there's something for everyone.
"We've got some very good bargains this year. Some special, unique things, like a box -- unopened box of Beatle CDs and some artwork and a lot of good books," said book sale chairperson Margo Kaminsky.
Organizers say there are almost 10,000 books and DVDs available.
