1h agoA man was arrested Sunday by the Fairfield Police Department, accused in a stabbing that stemmed from a domestic incident.
Police say it happened around 11 p.m. on Mountain Lauren Road.
They say Robert Van Weddle stabbed his partner multiple times causing serious injury.
Authorities say the victim is currently in stable condition at the hospital.
Weddle was expected to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court this morning. He faces criminal attempt to commit murder, assault and disorderly conduct charges.
