Fairfield University officials say they are looking into an off-campus theme party last weekend that upset some members of the campus community.
Some students say the "ghetto"-themed party featured costumes that were racially insensitive. The student body president released a statement saying that the party perpetuated stereotypes.
Pictures began circulating social media, but students say they were quickly pulled when the backlash began.
News 12 is told that students are planning to hold a forum this week to open a dialogue and give students a chance to voice their concerns. The school says it will make staff available to speak with students disturbed by the party.
