Fairfield University greeted its incoming Class of 2028 Monday, boasting its largest and most competitive group yet.

The class comprises over 1,450 students, selected from a pool of 18,500 applicants.

These freshmen boast impressive credentials, with average weighted GPAs of 3.96.

Additionally, over 100 students have been named Magis Scholars and invited to the Honors Program.

Classes for the new academic year began today.
