Families began to move into their new homes Wednesday after last week's condominium fire.
Approximately 120 people were impacted by the condo fire on Charles Street. City officials said social service agencies are working to find homes for all the victims.
"They're working with landlords, they're calling landlords, they're calling any realtors that may have apartments," Bridgeport Emergency Management Director Scott Appleby said.
Some victims may end up in city-owned housing, but most have found private landlords.
The city is also asking for donations of furniture, including beds, mattresses and dressers.
To donate furniture or bedding, please call the Bridgeport Emergency Management Office at (203) 579-3829.
