Despite the steamy temperatures Tuesday, people still ventured outside to enjoy the final few weeks of summer.
Travis Sclafani, of Norwalk, says 90-degree temperatures didn't deter his kids from wanting to play in the sand and the water, so they hit Shady Beach with an easy up tent.
Not everyone opted for the hot summer sun, as many went indoors to seek shade. The AMF Lanes in Norwalk drew in a big crowd as people looked to avoid the haze and humidity. Many even pulled out their winter sweaters and gloves and headed to the Rinks at Shelton.
