The family of a Stratford man shot to death 14 years ago Saturday is still asking for the public's help in solving his murder.
On Oct. 14, 2003, police say Shawn Miller was fatally shot in the face on the front steps of his home by an unknown man who came to his front door.
Miller was pronounced dead at Bridgeport Hospital an hour later.
Miller's four sons, sister and niece are asking police to reopen the cold case so that they can obtain some closure.
“I would like my little brothers to know that bad things happen, but…justice will be served,” said Jalen Miller.
Police say they will be also going back to their original files as they re-examine the unsolved case.
