Fan mail keeps rolling in at the Connecticut Beardsley Zoo, and it is all for some of the zoo’s most beloved residents — the red pandas.

Students from across the state have been sending drawings, handwritten notes and colorful cards to show their affection for the furry fan favorites. The outpouring has been so overwhelming that zookeepers decided the red pandas should see the artwork for themselves.

Staff brought stacks of letters and drawings to the pandas’ habitat, sharing the messages of love and support with the animals and snapping a few photos of the heartwarming moment.

Zookeepers say they have been deeply moved by the response, calling the wave of student creativity and kindness a bright spot for the entire zoo community. They say their hearts are full knowing how many young fans care so much about the animals.
