Democratic congressional candidate Diane Farrell made it clear she plans to pull out all the stops by adding brand-name friends with brand-name views to her campaign trail.Former Ambassador to Iraq Joe Wilson campaigned with Farrell Thursday in Fairfield. Wednesday, Senator Ted Kennedy (D-MA) spoke on her behalf in Bridgeport. Farrell and Wilson concentrated on their shared opposition of the war in Iraq. They also reinstated their call for the resignation of Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld. Farrell insists her opponent Rep. Shays (R-CT) has never provided a clear answer on the topic of Rumsfeld.The subject of Rumsfeld and much more will take center stage again during the second of 11 debates between Shays and Farrell Thursday night at Norwalk Community College.
