Fatal wrong-way crash in Putnam County claims Connecticut woman's life

Alexandra Quinn was driving westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-84 in the town of Southeast when she collided with a tractor-trailer, according to state police in Brewster.

A wrong-way car crash on I-84 eastbound in Putnam County has resulted in the death of a Connecticut woman.
Alexandra Quinn was driving westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-84 in the town of Southeast when she collided with a tractor-trailer, according to state police in Brewster.
Quinn was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The driver of the tractor-trailer, Ryan Everett, fortunately did not sustain any injuries.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident to determine the circumstances that led to the wrong-way crash on the interstate.
