Thanksgiving is just over a week away, and the country’s top infectious disease expert is giving the thumbs up for families to gather if they are vaccinated.
“If you get vaccinated and your family’s vaccinated, you can feel good about enjoying a typical Thanksgiving, Christmas with your family and close friends,” says Dr. Anthony Fauci.
However, Dr. Fauci warned that COVID-19 cases are still high.
Dr. Fauci says people should still wear masks when they're out in the community and around groups of people in indoor settings.
