Stamford Downtown hosted its inaugural Fire and Ice Winter Festival at Columbus Park on Saturday.
Attendees got to watch professional ice sculptors up close and pick out a variety of meals from local shops and restaurants.
“This year, we wanted to do something new for Columbus Park and drive activity to the restaurants here,” said David Kooris, of Stamford Downtown.
Stamford Downtown’s next big event will be the return of Winter Restaurant Weeks in February.
