A person died in a barn fire in Washington on Blackville Road.

The barn in Litchfield County was converted to a place to live.

It took several hours for firefighters to get it under control. The victim's body was found inside.

Fire officials say that fire does not appear to be suspicious, but the investigation is ongoing.
