STORM WATCH

Storm bringing up to 10 inches of snow to parts of Connecticut

Stamford police officers are one step closer to getting body cameras.
The Board of Representatives fiscal committee passed the measure Monday night with nine members in favor.
The assistant police chief said with so many people recording officers on the job with smartphones, they need to have their own record of events.
Officials say the cameras will be partially paid for by a federal grant.
The proposal will now go to the full Board of Representatives.
