Widespread flooding broke out at a Westport restaurant following Friday's winter storm.
It happened at Rive Bistro, which is located along the Saugatuck River.
The owner says the restaurant got almost 6 inches of water.
Staff shut down the power in the building Friday morning to avoid possible electrical damages.
Since then, the flooding has gone down and the restaurant plans to re-open.
"The wind is coming from the south, and when the wind comes from the south it hits us very badly. It only happened twice in the past 10 years, and you know, the water came up pretty good," said owner Eric Sierra.
Sierra says he is hoping tides continue to fall back as he prepares for Christmas Eve, which is usually a busy day for the restaurant.
