It's an exciting week for Fairfield foodies with Restaurant Week underway.

Over 30 restaurants are taking part this year, with many old companies returning but also a few new faces.

The restaurants are offering discounted lunch and dinner menus all week long.

This is the seventh year the town has held their Restaurant Week.

First Selectman Mike Tetreau says the town looks for ways to improve the event each year, but it has been received well.

Restaurant Week runs through Sunday.
