A former New Canaan lunch lady pleaded guilty this week to stealing about $500,000 from the school district.
Marie Wilson, 74, had been charged with larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny. Under the plea agreement, Wilson's lawyer says she will receive a fully suspended seven-year sentence followed by one to three years of probation.
She will not have to pay any restitution.
Wilson and her sister Joanne Pascarelli, who also worked with New Canaan Public Schools Food Service, were arrested back in August 2018.
Pascarelli's trial is scheduled to start next month.
