2ds agoA former Fairfield Public Schools employee facing child pornography charges was arrested for a second time Tuesday in Fairfield.
Police say they initially arrested Peter Wheeler Jr. on Jan. 23. He was instructed not to have any further interactions with staff and students, or enter any school buildings.
Detectives uncovered new information on Tuesday that indicated he victimized an elementary school-aged girl and a male high school student.
Police say Wheeler communicated electronically with the high school student between late 2022 and late 2023. The communications included text messages, phone calls and social media conversations.
