The former Stratford firefighter that died fighting a fire in the Bronx was laid to rest Friday in his hometown of Ramsey, New Jersey.
Friends say Michael Reilly, 25, had been a volunteer firefighter since he was 16. He was killed last week while searching for victims of a fire in a building. Part of the building collapsed trapping Reilly and four other firefighters. Reilly was one of two who did not survive.
Sixty-five members of the Stratford Fire Department attend the service Friday.
