A funeral was held Thursday for a Connecticut state trooper killed while responding to Ida's floodwaters.
Sgt. Brian Mohl's funeral took place at the Xfinity Theater in Hartford at 11 a.m.
A procession took Mohl’s body to his final resting place for a private service.
Mohl died in the line of duty in Woodbury last week when he was swept away by the floodwaters.
Countless condolences have poured in to honor the trooper who devoted nearly 30 years to the job.
He's survived by his wife Susan and three children, Brian, Samantha and Peter.
The governor and lieutenant governor both attended the funeral.
