Bridgeport Mayor Joe Ganim says he is pleased with the Connecticut Supreme Court ruling upholding his election victory.
Ganim's narrow victory over Sen. Marilyn Moore in the Democratic primary was challenged over alleged absentee ballot tampering.
"I'm pleased to hear of the Supreme Court's unanimous final decision that reaffirms the trial court decision and the validity of the election. I thank the court for their time took to review this case. I would be remiss if I didn't express my appreciation again for the continued and overwhelming support that I received from the voters," Ganim said.
