'Good Grief!': Peanuts holiday specials to air only on Apple TV+ this year. How nonsubscribers can watch.
Peanuts favorite holiday specials “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” and “A Charlie Brown Christmas” will not be available on TV this year. Instead the classic holiday movies will only stream on Apple TV+.

Peanuts favorite holiday specials “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” and “A Charlie Brown Christmas” will not be available on TV this year. Instead the classic holiday movies will only stream on Apple TV+.
Last year, the specials also aired on PBS, but the network
says that it no longer holds the rights to the
specials.
Apple TV+ is providing special free windows for
nonsubscribers to stream the iconic holiday specials from Mendelson/Melendez
Productions and Peanuts Worldwide.
“It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” will be available
Oct. 28 through Oct. 31.
“A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” will be available Nov. 23
through Nov. 27.
And “A Charlie Brown Christmas” will be available Dec. 22
through Dec. 25.
These specials are available to subscribers now and every
day.
The Peanuts Classics lineup available on Apple TV+ this
holiday season is expanding to also include “I Want a Dog for Christmas” and
“Charlie Brown’s Christmas Tales.”
