Gov. Ned Lamont has pitched a plan to lower the cost of prescription drugs for residents in state.
Lamont says he wants to tie generic drug prices to inflation, which could impact 1,000 drugs.
He also wants to make it easier to use the discount drug cards-- like GoodRx-- by letting purchases count toward your insurance deductible.
"This represents thousands of generic drugs where we can really save you money almost immediately," said Lamont.
Lamont added he wants to explore importing cheaper drugs from Canada.
