Griffin Health vaccination vans were back out in Connecticut Wednesday as the delta variant becomes the dominant strain of COVID-19 in the state.
State officials reported the positivity rate climbed over 2% Tuesday for the first time since May. Griffin Health officials say as infections and hospitalizations start to climb again, vaccinations are slowing to a crawl.
Organizers say the mobile clinics they run with the Griffin Health vaccination van are a great way to bring health care to the community and give those who are hesitant a chance to ask questions.
Griffin Health officials say they're running 25 to 35 clinics a day around the state seven days a week.
