Hundreds marched in New York City this weekend to stand in solidarity with the Asian American community. The march comes after the recent spa shootings in Georgia. Demonstrators chanted “stop Asian hate” as they walked towards Union Square. Many held signs denouncing the rising hate and violence against Asian Americans. Organizers say the Black and Asian communities share common struggles through their experience of being racially profiled.
