The wake for the three young girls killed in the Christmas Day house fire in Stamford was held today in Manhattan.
Many others attended a makeshift memorial in front of the site of the fire on Shippan Avenue.
Ten-year-old Lilly and 7-year-old twins, Grace and Sarah Badger, as well as their grandparents, Lomer and Pauline Johnson, were killed in the fire.
Fire investigators now say the embers that caused the blaze had been removed from the fireplace so the children would not worry about Santa being burned when he came down the chimney.
Funeral plans for the grandparents have yet to be announced.
