Bayer HealthCare announced to hundreds of Connecticut employees it will relocate its plant to New Jersey.Bayer decided to relocate after acquiring Schering AG of Germany after more than 30 years at the Orange-West Haven border. Now, 300 Bayer employees will soon have to relocate with the company or be out of a job. This comes as a shock to all of its employees, especially at the on-set of the holiday season.The company announced similar cuts at its Richmond, California location. Bayer HealthCare is expected to be completely removed from the Connecticut site in 2008.
