A local couple is making sure people get vaccinated by giving the shot out themselves.

Robert Yost, Westport's fire chief, and his wife Tina have visited Bridgeport, Westport and Fairfield to help get people vaccinated.

They have even done the FEMA mobile vaccination units together.

The couple says they have such hectic schedules that this is now how they get to spend some quality time together. They say they are looking into taking a vacation soon.

The Yosts both have EMT training - that's what they were doing when they first met.
