The streaming kids' show Wonderama appeared at Beardsley Park in Bridgeport this weekend to support the bipartisan Kids Online Safety Act.
During the event, organizers formally recognized Democrat Senator Richard Blumenthal and Republican Senator Marsha Blackburn for introducing the landmark legislation.
The bill aims to protect children by requiring tech platforms to prevent harm, enhance privacy, and provide strong parental controls.
Both host of the show Chuck Armstrong and Senator Blumenthal emphasized the urgent need for the act, with Blumenthal vowing to fight to pass the measure due to its overwhelming bipartisan support.
