"You stand a much better chance as a Venezuelan national to have the TPS application submitted than if you were just simply being without any protections. A lot of times folks say, 'Well, if I submit my application, won't I be then targeted by ICE because they'll have my information?' That's not the case, because once you have your application submitted, you have due process of law. The Biden administration gave the group Temporary Protected Status due to ongoing turmoil in Venezuela. But the Trump administration says it's working to end that protection due to "concerns about national security and rule of law."
