Some Bronx high school students got into the Christmas spirit this morning.
Students at James Monroe High School on Boyton Avenue in The Bronx were treated to decorations, Christmas carols and Santa Claus himself on their last day of school before winter break.
Every year the celebration is put on by James Monroe High School's Coordinator of Student Activities Tom Porton.
Porton says it's really important that the students feel excitement for the holidays and bring joy and happiness to the building. He says he has been organizing the celebration at the school since the 1970s.
