For his final visit of the school year, Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Jonathan Cubit visited students at Stillmeadow Elementary School in Stamford Wednesday.
Jonathan spoke to kindergarteners. They recently learned about the seasons, different types of weather and what a meteorologist does.
Throughout the year, students also learned about the daily forecast.
"It's so important for them to know what the weather forecast is. They watch Jonathan in the morning so that they know what clothes to wear in the morning," says teacher Carolyn Tschinkel. "…They got to meet a real meteorologist and I think this is a wonderful experience."
Although students love snow and snow days, Tschinkel says they are looking forward to summer.
