3h agoJury selection for Raul Valle is now set for May 6. It had previously been set for Dec. 3.
He was in Milford court Monday, where the announcement was made.
The postponement comes after the defense requested more time to prepare before the trial. That move was granted by Judge Shari Murphy.
Valle was arrested and charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of Jimmy McGrath at a party in Shelton in May 2022.
The Fairfield Prep student was only 17 years old.
In 2023, Valle rejected a plea deal for 40 years of prison time.
