A 24-year-old Kansas man was arrested for assaulting a flight attendant on a Chicago-bound flight out of Bradley International Airport, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Connecticut says.
Julius Jordan Priester, of Wichita, allegedly took off his shirt, shouted "help me," and ran to the back of American Airlines Flight 3359 about 30 minutes after its 9:30 p.m. departure Tuesday.
Authorities say he grabbed a seated flight attendant, shouted "you're coming with me," and dragged them up the aisle.
Passengers intervened, returning Priester to his seat.
The captain declared an emergency and diverted the flight back to Bradley, where Connecticut State Police arrested Priester.
