6h agoA late-night motorcycle crash in Bridgeport has left one person dead.
The crash happened at the intersection of Fairfield and Colorado avenues near Hancock Pharmacy.
Fairfield Avenue is a one-way street with a two-way stop at the intersection. Police are still investigating the circumstances that led to the collision between the motorcycle and an SUV just after 11:30 p.m.
The motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. The area was cordoned off by police for several hours following the incident.
The identity of the victim is currently withheld pending family notification.
