Long Island voters make choice in Nassau executive, DA races

In Nassau, County Executive Laura Curran is being challenged by Republican Bruce Blakeman, a Hempstead town councilman and former presiding officer of the Nassau County Legislature.

Voters across Long Island are casting their ballots in several big races, including Nassau County executive, Nassau district attorney and Suffolk district attorney.
In Nassau, County Executive Laura Curran is being challenged by Republican Bruce Blakeman, a Hempstead town councilman and former presiding officer of the Nassau County Legislature.
State Sen. Todd Kaminsky is vying for Nassau district attorney against prosecutor Anne Donnelly.
In Suffolk, District Attorney Tim Sini is looking to retain his seat against Ray Tierney, a former federal and local prosecutor.
All seats in both county legislatures are also up for grabs.
