All right, we made it to Friday. Time for Main Street, Connecticut, a chance to showcase our local towns and cities and all they have to offer. Uh, this week we are in Westport. News 12 Connecticut's Mark Suddall is at CB Sports Heath on Post Road East. Mark. Hey, Becky, you know, in the winter time this is really a ski shop so you can get your skis, your poles, and your boots for about $200 for the whole season. That's a pretty good deal. We're gonna be talking about, uh, some spring and summer stuff though, in fact, uh, look, we're all smiles here today, all smiles. Why not? Come on. Kendra Wingate is here this morning to talk to us about, uh, some bikes and good stuff. Thank you for being with us. Thank you. Uh, we got some pickle ball going on here. Tell us about, uh, some of the bikes here. Yeah, I see you have a nice, uh, beach cruiser over here for Becky that we'll have to, uh, maybe promote later on. Tell us about the bike and you have a big donation coming up this weekend. Tell us about that. Um, we have a donation. Um, I believe that it's important to, um. Give back and be a member of the community and so I was trying to find ways with this fabulous shop and I thought about bicycle donations for those in need, children and adults, and so I started a first annual and um collaborated with Northeast Community Cycles. So if people want to drop their bicycles here to our store, CB Sportif on this afternoon, Friday. Until 4 and then Saturday 10 to 3 tomorrow. Northeast Community Cycles will come and pick them up, refurbish them, and give them to, um, children and adults in need within the local community. That is really awesome. So are you getting a lot of people bringing bikes in to donate? We are thankfully, um, people have been receptive. I figured it was a great time to host this, uh, spring cleaning out the garages and your your sheds and whatnot, um. And also it's just such an exciting time that spring is here and cycling is just such fun. So, uh, we have a couple of wonderful bicycles that we laid out to show you. This is the beach cruiser and there's also one on the rack and then uh we've got awesome e-bikes. The blue there is his and hers so much fun to get out there in this beautiful weather in the spring and, uh, along the coast to ride the bicycles. So how can people donate? So if they just drop their bicycles here um today and tomorrow, uh they can um just pull in and drop them off here at 1554 Post Road East C 14th and then um Northeast will come this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon and pick them up and refurbish them and pass them on to those in need and we do have. A donation form if people would like a tax ID donation receipt. I will give you those as well. All right, Kendra, I gotta get outside here because I gotta hop on one of these bikes. I mean, this is like the, the coolest thing. I mean, look at how nice this bike is. It's taking me back to when I used to be a paper boy here. Of course I had a like a Schwin or something like that, 10 speed, but uh, oh, this is nice. Becky, come on, get yourself over here. Get on that beach cruiser, you know, ring the bell. I mean, let's go. I think Kenny's gonna make you drive back to the station.
