The victim had attended a court proceeding earlier in the day and was shot outside of the courthouse, according to police.

3ds agoA man was shot and killed as he was leaving the Waterbury Superior Court on Thursday.
Police said the victim was a 26-year-old male from Waterbury.
The victim had attended a court proceeding earlier in the day and was shot outside of the courthouse, according to police.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital but died from his injuries.
Officials said the suspect fled the scene before they arrived.
