The medical examiner says that the state police sergeant who was swept away by floodwaters early Thursday morning died from blunt trauma to the torso.
Sgt. Brian Mohl was in his cruiser when floodwaters swept it away in Woodbury. He was found separated from the car.
Mohl was a 26-year veteran on the force. Flags are flying at half staff across the state in his honor.
