Civil rights leader Coretta Scott King, the widow of Martin Luther King Jr., has died at the age of 78.
Since her husband?s death, Coretta Scott King fought tirelessly to carry on his legacy and helped to establish January 16 as a national holiday in his name.
Reverend Lindsay Curtis, of the Grace Baptist Church in Norwalk, met Dr. King as a young boy. He remembers Coretta Scott King from a pastor conference they both attended two years ago. Reverend Curtis says he looks forward to talking about the Kings? legacy to the members of his church this Sunday.
