Service on Metro-North's New Haven Line is operating on or close to schedule after a worker was hurt on the tracks earlier in the day, officials say.
A spokesperson says the worker was cut and suffered minor injuries after a piece of equipment that inserts railroad ties on the tracks derailed.
The railroad tweeted that service was on or close to schedule ahead of the evening rush.
The accident happened shortly after noon between the Cos Cob and Old Greenwich stations.
