Mexican restaurant that opened during pandemic celebrates 3rd year in Norwalk

A Norwalk business that opened during the COVID-19 pandemic is celebrating its third anniversary this holiday weekend.
The owners of Don Carmelo's Mexican Grill & Tequila Bar say they want to thank the community for all of the love and support they have received from day one.
Their menu features a wide array of Mexican specialties "all delivered with love and family pride."
"Our waiters are very attentive and they try to make you feel at home, and they try to give you the best experience we can give you," says Maria Valdovinos. "As a family culture, we love to have all of our family over and just cook for everybody and feel blessed to be alive."
Don Carmelo's located at 7 Winfield St. in the heart of East Norwalk right next to the East Norwalk Train Station.
