Michelle Troconis' attorney petitioned the appellate court on Monday to get her released on bond while an appeal is pending.
Attorney Jon Schoenhorn intends to appeal the verdict and argues there were two dozen issues with the trial.
Troconis was
sentenced to 14 1/2 years in prison in the disappearance and presumed death of Jennifer Dulos.
She was convicted of all charges, including conspiracy to commit murder.
Schoenhorn requested an appeal bond at her sentencing hearing, but the judge denied that.
In Schoenborn's filing, he states that Troconis is not a flight risk or a danger to the community and has complied with all release conditions since her first arrest in 2019.
