A Milford café is donating a portion of its sales this month to a local LGBTQ group for Pride Month.
CappuGino's Coffee and Shakes in Milford is donating a part of its profits to Milford Pride, an intersectional organization that supports all sexual orientations and gender identities and expressions.
CappuGino's isn't a typical coffee shop - it's located right in the lobby of Milford Vascular Institute.
David Esposito, a surgeon at Milford Vascular Institute, has owned the practice for 20 years.
He says when they remodeled in August, his son Gino came up with the idea of running a café in the lobby.
On the wall inside the shop, the words "Gino's Promise" are written in chalk.
Each month, CappuGino's Coffee and Shakes donates part of its profits to a local charity.
Last month was the Daniel Wasson scholarship fund created in memory of Wasson, a Milford K9 handler killed in the line of duty.
In addition to donating a portion of profits to Milford Pride, customers who donate a dollar to the organization this month will be given a Pride sticker.
