A Milford man is paying it forward to help one man who gave him a whole new lease on life with a life-sized Sen. Bernie Sanders doll display.
Tim Attolino says he created the doll because he wanted to raise some money for Special Olympics for his friend, John Morris.
Attolino was battling cancer when he met Morris at a golf tournament and they've been good friends ever since.
"He is my hero and I am proud to call him my friend," Attolino says.
He says a local restaurant in Blackrock is displaying the doll, and that he's planning to do a fundraiser later this year.
