Public health officials and emergency responders are being put to the test in Milford Wednesday. Platt Technical High School is one of six areas across the state where officials are conducting a large-scale exercise of their public health emergency capabilities. The drill is designed to test the response of state and local officials in the event of a bio-terror attack. Milford?s health director said the drill was running smoothly. He hopes the drill dictates how officials would respond in the event of a real disaster.
