All bodycam footage was released Tuesday from the officers who arrested a suspect in Milford who died while in police custody last week.

Michael Brown died last Wednesday after an arrest in the parking lot of Big Y Supermarket on Boston Post Road.

The inspector general’s initial report said “Brown was wanted on eight outstanding arrest warrants for shoplifting. Officers observed Brown exiting the store and followed him to his car.”

The Office of the Inspector General had released only a portion of the arrest.

Milford police said once the investigation by the inspector general is concluded, a separate investigation will be conducted by its own internal review.

“I encourage the public to withhold judgment until the final report by the Inspector General’s Office, including the findings of the chief medical examiner and the toxicology results,” said Milford Police Chief Keith Mello in a statement.

Details surrounding Brown's death have not yet been released.
