A source says a two-day police standoff that started as a wellness check for a man on Pullman Drive in Milford has been resolved peacefully, according to a source.
Police say that when they initially arrived at the man's door on Monday, he threatened the officers.
One neighbor says officers told them that the man had multiple guns.
Police told News 12 they didn't think anyone else was inside the house besides that man, so they didn't need to go inside. They did say they still wanted to talk to him to make sure he was OK.
At around 6 p.m., officers went into the house, and a source says the issue was resolved.
News 12 has learned that at least one of the man's family members was on his way to the house.
