The Milford School Board has decided not to renew School Superintendent Gregory Firn's contract.
Dr. Firn had asked the board to extend his contract another two years, but the final decision was eventually made during a closed session Monday night. Seven of the 10 members voted not to renew his contract, which expires at the end of the upcoming school year.Firn has been under fire for writing a letter on behalf of youth basketball coach Robert Dulin, who allegedly had an affair with a 16-year-old player. At issue is whether Firn knew about the allegations.
News 12 Connecticut reached out to all of the school board members Tuesday, but several of them said they couldn?t comment because of pending litigation.
