? A war demonstration was held in Milford Saturday with the protesters divided between those who want troops pulled out of Iraq and those who stand behind them either way.
Dozens gathered at the town green, including Christine Ruggiero who said she was there to show her support and appreciation for her son who is stationed in Afghanistan. On the other side of the green were protesters who said all troops should be pulled out of the Middle East. Although Marsha Ziebell?s son was almost killed in the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center, she does not believe the U.S. military is overseas for the right reasons.
Veterans at the event stressed to both sides that whether they were for or against the war, they should all support the troops to help morale.
